Summary, etc. &lt;span style="font-size: 8pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="line-height: 18.719999313354492px;"&gt;Fletcher factor deficiency (low plasma prekallikrein level) is a rare clotting defect characterised by a prolonged partial thromboplastin time (APTT)&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;em style="line-height: 18.719999313354492px;"&gt;in&amp;nbsp;vitro&lt;/em&gt;&lt;span style="line-height: 18.719999313354492px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;but normal thrombin and bleeding times. Wepresent a case of prolonged APTT in labour needing an emergency caesarean section (CS) found to have Fletcher factor deficiency.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br style="line-height: 18.719999313354492px;" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="line-height: 18.719999313354492px;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 8pt;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;
