Quality assurance in nursing : concepts, methods and case studies

An insight into quality assurance activities in current nursing practice. Heather Marr has worked as a facilitator in Standard Setting, Audit and Quality Improvement initiatives since 1986 within Fife Health Board and throughout the UK. She pioneered the development of the Dynamic Standard Setting System; she has led many workshops and has provided practical experiences for the RCN's Standards of Care Project.
