Summary: The purpose of this dissertation is to compare the concepts of hospital chemotherapy delivery settings with that of home treatment and to demonstrate that the administration of chemotherapy in the home provides a viable alternative to hosptialization for many cancer patients. The conclusions have been based on a literature review, personal experience and observations in the field.
